An award winning photography exhibition exploring Black womxn, femmes, non binary people and hair featuring Dawn Butler MP, author Otegha Uwagba and drag queen Son of a Tutu. Each person in these series of photos was asked to choose an object that reminded them of a memory to do with their hair, from tights, sports medals to wigs. They told their story (read them here) and had their portrait taken in a special location in Waltham Forest.
PHOTOGRAPHY BY THE BRILLIANT NANA AMA. Exhibition was FUNDED by the Mayor of London Culture Seeds.
