A photography exhibition exploring Black womxn, hair and identity and featuring Dawn Butler MP, author Otegha Uwagba and drag queen Son of a Tutu. Currently featured in Room to Breathe at the Migration Museum until 2019. Exhibition was supported by the Mayor of London Culture Seeds. Photography by Nana Ama and curated by Korantema Anyimadu. Each person in these series of photos was asked to choose an object that reminded them of a memory to do with their hair. They told their story (read their excerpts above) and some of them were photographed with their chosen object. Every person has a connection to Waltham Forest.
